This Privacy Policy explains how MatchLab ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the MatchLab mobile app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — email address and password (stored hashed).
- Content you upload — profile photos and chat screenshots you submit for AI analysis.
- Usage & wallet data — token balance, purchases, and actions you take in the app.
- Device & log data — app version, device type, and basic diagnostics.
2. How we use it
- Provide the core features: photo audit, chat coaching, and tips.
- Process payments and maintain your token wallet.
- Send account and verification emails.
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse.
3. AI processing
Photos and chats you submit are sent to our AI processing service to generate feedback. We do not sell this content. Uploaded content is used to produce your result and is retained only as long as needed to provide the Service.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate — payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting (AWS), email delivery, and AI inference. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app, which removes your personal data and uploaded content, subject to legal retention requirements. To request deletion, contact us at the email below.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and stored objects are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
7. Children
The Service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us to exercise them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
